Ornamental wheat creation
Beautiful heart made of wheat and its stalks.
Hand-folded stars are dipped in beeswax when completed to help preserve colors and shapes.
This box was about 4 inches from point to top of the rounds and took many tedious hours to complete.
Also a very tiny creation, only a few inches long. PA German people would create these in their spare time.
A single, completed paper star.
An example of PA German traditional art.
The next few photos demonstrate the folding of a paper star. This lady was quite quick in her folding and has spent many hours perfecting her craft.
An example of very early PA German art, which was also useful.
